Ryan Companies US, Inc. has immediate career opportunities for Superintendents in our Phoenix, Arizona, office.
Specific duties include management of subcontractors’ performance; development of CPM computer-generated scheduling and tracking; accurate take-offs; assist in development, review, and management of overall construction budget; read and comprehend plans, prints and specs; develop material procurement list and incorporate into master schedule; review shop drawings; establish and monitor QC program; value engineer throughout project; mentor subordinates; effectively communicate with all project team members,; make sound decisions and seek creative solutions to problems using all available resources; create Raving Fans; and sell additional work.
The candidate’s professional background must include 20+ years of experience in commercial construction, specifically in medical, schools, retail, high-rise remodels and new construction. His/her qualifications should include project management skills, scheduling experience using Microsoft Project, Prolog and Primavera P-6. You must have a post high school education or equivalent in the construction field, have a valid driver’s license, live in the Phoenix area and pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test and subsequent random testing. The successful candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish and able to build relationships with internal and external customers.
