Project Overview

Demonstrating Ryan’s industrial expertise and our ability to work skillfully with temperature controlled facilities, we worked in partnership with HDA Architects to construct a 116,000-SF refrigerated beer distribution center. Insulated metal panels and Thermomass tilt walls helped to promote energy efficiency throughout the facility, and automated HVAC controls will keep the draught coolers at a constant and precise 35 degrees while the warehouse stays at 72 degrees. The customer, Bergseth Bros, is a family-owned beverage company which distributes Coors products as well as a number of local craft beers.

Beyond the temperature controlled facility, the project included 10,000 square feet of office space and a stunning beer garden for vendor meetings and company events. This space features glass overhead doors that can be raised to allow fresh air and natural light to flood the space. The fine woodwork in the beer garden and the quarter sawn cherry panels throughout the high-design offices were crafted by specialty subcontractors.

  • The owners are ecstatic about their new facility, and the Ryan team was a very big part of that success. A big pat on the back for a tremendous effort—we really enjoy having your folks on our projects.
