Ryan Tower

Integrated global tax services, software and technology firm Ryan, LLC (no relation) wanted to build a new world headquarters in Plano, TX, that emphasized verticality and grandeur. The 400,000-SF, Class AA office space would serve as the global hub for over 500 Ryan, LLC employees, as well as an investment vehicle by constructing an additional 200,000 SF for lease to corporate tenants.

As the lead tenant of the new building, Ryan, LLC needed an expert to facilitate the development and construction processes in order to secure tenants and achieve their desired headquarters and investment outcome. Recognizing our shared vision for making a positive impact while maintaining cost effectiveness, they selected Ryan Companies to build their “office of the future.”

Ryan’s development and construction teams collaborated with structural engineers, design consultants and subcontractors to maintain the client’s budget without sacrificing their grand vision. Thanks to our leadership and collaborative efforts, we ultimately achieved our goal of reducing the overall budget by $10 million.

Situated on a 3.6-acre site, the 23-story tower includes floor-to-ceiling windows and a virtually column-free workplace. The project is a concrete pedestal tower featuring a crown-like design made of extruded aluminum fins, adding a regal element to the Legacy skyline. With a fitness center, conference room, lounge and café, and situated in the Legacy West master planned development home to over 30 retailers and 20 restaurants, Ryan Tower is a bustling building for both work and play.
