SuperValu Distribution Center MN

Ryan’s relationship with SuperValu spans 35 years and encompasses many projects across the Upper Midwest. SuperValu is the nation’s leading food distribution company and the tenth largest food retailer.

The Minneapolis Distribution Center handles 90 percent of SuperValu’s northern region dry grocery volume. The facility is situated on a 42-acre site in a western suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The distribution center regularly handles more than 787,000 tons of product a year.

In 1997, Ryan completed a 321,000-square-foot automated food distribution center and warehouse in Oglesby, Illinois, for Advantage Logistics-Midwest, Inc., a subsidiary of SuperValu, Inc. In 2000,  Ryan also completed an 87,856-square-foot perishable foods warehouse in Minneapolis for SuperValu.
