A Successful Twenty-Year Partnership
Formed in 1922, Bawden Printing specializes in producing two-color softbound books primarily for educational and commercial purposes. In the fall of 1999, Bawden Printing was acquired by Von Hoffmann Graphics, a division of Von Hoffmann Press, one of the country's largest maufacturers of textbooks. In 1981, when Bawden moved to their new location in Eldridge, Ryan signed a contract to build a new 45,180 square-foot plant. Since starting this project, eleven additions of nearly 269,220 square feet have been completed. When a new addition is in the design stages, fixture expansion is always a part of the plan.
