Winthrop Charter Schools

Ryan partnered with Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) to develop and construct the two-story Winthrop Charter School, one of CSUSA’s first two schools in Hillsborough County, Florida. Ryan began working with CSUSA in 2009 to create a real estate solution and together, they began building in early spring.

Through an integrated development, design and construction approach, Ryan was able to fast-track design and permitting, ensuring students were in their seats on August 23. They also achieved CSUSA’s other key goals of open communication and no change orders. The result is a thoroughly delighted customer and an enthusiastic student body. Student applications were so numerous that CSUSA is planning a middle school for 2012.

Winthrop Charter School is a tuition-free K-8 public charter school, which serves students in Hillsborough County, and is a member of the Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) family of schools. CSUSA is the premier charter school operator in Florida with more than 30 schools and growing rapidly.
