The California team is just finishing the first phases of two landmark projects, both LEED: The Towers at Bressi Ranch in Carlsbad and RiverView at Santee. Because the state, its regulations, and its people are highly environmentally-conscious, Ryan has responded with 100% of its California project managers achieving LEED accreditation. We’ve become well-versed in navigating the protected waters of the environmental and development process and, beyond that, we inherently believe in being good neighbors as well as good real estate partners.

Ryan's California team has quickly imprinted its standards of giving back to the community: building a home in one day in Baja California as part of the Project Mercy event (an active participant for the past three years), “adopting” needy families during the holidays, sponsoring the Boys and Girls Clubs of Carlsbad and Santee, participating in the adoption of a Marine platoon with NAIOP and contributing to the Head North Foundation.

We’ve extended our strong relationship with Target to the west coast, as well as those with Starwood Hotels and Resorts, The Hartford and Rockwell Collins. We've embarkd on new relationships with Tech Wear, Lang Engineering, Rushall McGeever and San Dieguito Trophy. We’re focusing on the hospitality industry in several Southern California locations, and taking on our third office condo project.

Our value-designing program utilizes Ryan personnel from building management and operation departments in our other offices, along with senior personnel within the construction department to review building design alternatives. This allows us to generate fresh ideas and benefit from lessons learned on other projects over time. The weight of Ryan’s experience is behind its California office, riding the waves of change and growth nationwide.
