HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL (February 7, 2006) — CCO Entertainment, Ryan Companies and Sears have released an animated four minute DVD providing businesses and individuals with an insider’s look at Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Chicago’s newest arena.
Beginning with an almost space age view of the Chicago area and then zooming westward, past the beaming lights of landmark locations, the DVD gives a geographical perspective of the Sears Centre location and the vast market area it serves.
“With its state-of-the-art technology, this presentation provides a dramatic walking tour of the arena’s features and amenities,” Steve Hyman, president of CCO Entertainment, and Executive Director of Sears Centre, said. “The dimension and perspective captured in this video allows people to see exactly what we are building.”
After establishing the location of Sears Centre, the DVD, using 3-D animation through a variety of architectural software programs, takes viewers on a walking tour of the arena that sits on 35 acres within the Prairie Stone Business Center.
Hyman notes Sears Centre is a 11,000-seat multi-purpose family entertainment, cultural and sports center under construction within Prairie Stone. Sears Centre will host more than 135 events per year, from sporting events to concerts to family shows, and attract more than 750,000 visitors annually. The site, and the ongoing construction activity, is clearly visible from the Northwest Tollway (I-90) near Route 59.
“We open our doors in October 2006, almost eight months from now.” Hyman said, “This piece, however, allows us to bring people inside today for a closer look at what we will be offering, why we will be one of the very special places for entertainment and sporting events in Chicago.”
According to Hyman, the DVD is available to businesses looking into suite purchases and corporate sponsorship opportunities, and the general public who may purchase club seats, the grand opening concert series and individual event tickets.
