Pride Mobility Products Signs at Randall Crossings in Elgin
Naperville, IL (June 2, 2008)—Pride Mobility Products Corporation has completed a lease at Randall Crossings, Ryan Companies US, Inc.’s business park in Elgin, IL. It is a transaction that will facilitate Pride’s expansion and relocation in Elgin, IL.
Principals with the Chicago office of Lee & Associates completed the lease transaction, serving as marketing representatives for Ryan Companies and tenant representative for Pride Mobility Products.
Pride Mobility Products has leased 72,320 square feet of space at 2700 Alft Lane, joining Hitachi Transport System as a tenant at Randall Crossings. Pride Mobility is a leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of quality mobility products, including power chairs, scooters, lift chairs and vehicle lift systems. The company is based in Exeter, PA. With this lease, Pride will relocate from another location in Elgin where it occupied approximately 58,000 square feet of space.
Pride will use the space for warehouse & distribution, and anticipates taking occupancy of the space in mid-July.
The space being leased on a long-term basis by Pride features 3,900 square feet of office space, one drive-in-door, twelve exterior truck docks and a secure storage area for six trailers.
The 2700 Alft Lane building totals 319,043 square feet of space. It features full height exterior precast finish at 30’ clear height, 36-docks, 4-drive in doors and an ESFR sprinkler system. With this lease to Pride, the building is nearly 50 percent leased. The remaining space available totals 174,315 square feet and has two drive-in-doors and 16 exterior docks. It is divisible to 83,000 square feet.
Randall Crossings Business Park is located one-quarter mile from the full interchange at I-90 and Randall Road. With 70-acres of land the business park can accommodate users from 25,000 to 500,000 SF.
Ken Franzese and John Cassidy, principals with Lee & Associates, are marketing the business park on behalf of Ryan Companies. John Sharpe, also a principal with Lee Associates, represented Pride in the transaction.

Cassidy noted that activity in Elgin and, more specifically, within the park, has remained steady.
“In today’s marketplace, leases are taking a little longer to complete, which is natural,” Cassidy said. “However, tenants are always looking for quality, convenience and efficiency. They will find that at Randall Crossings.”
Cassidy added that users looking to lease 70,000 square feet to approximately 175,000 square feet have a great option in 2700 Alft Lane in Randall Crossings. “A further example of the building’s flexibility”, he noted, “is the ability to use the space as a single load or cross-docked facility.”
