MINNEAPOLIS (May 15, 2008) – Ryan Companies US, Inc. announced that it has hired Julie Wolleat as director of retail sales and leasing. Wolleat, an 18-year retail real estate veteran, will bring her experience working for retailers such as Caribou Coffee and Regis Corporation to help make the leasing process as smooth and problem-free as possible for Ryan’s retail customers.
“Having sat across the table as a customer, Julie understands what our customers need, as well as their own processes to close a deal,” said Bill McHale, executive vice president of Retail Development, Ryan Companies US, Inc. “Her breadth of experience in retail leasing – which number in the hundreds of negotiated deals – means that Julie can react quickly to any roadblocks that may arise, and help close the deal on the customer’s schedule.”
As Ryan’s director of retail sales and leasing, Wolleat is involved in all aspects of the leasing process including brokerage coordination, tenant selection, design coordination, pre-leasing, outlot pad leasing or sale and general project administration. Wolleat started her retail real estate career as a real estate manager for The Barbers, continuing in that role as the company was acquired by Regis Corporation. She continued building experience at Caribou Coffee Company, Inc., where she was promoted to roles of increasing responsibility, up to director of real estate.
