MINNEAPOLIS (January 19, 2010) – In response to growing opportunities within commercial property management, Ryan Companies US, Inc. has hired and promoted key staff to meet new client needs.
Maney joins Ryan as senior general manager
Ryan has hired Michael Maney as senior general manager for the company’s real estate management group. In this role, Maney, a seasoned real estate professional with more than 25 years of experience with institutional, corporate and entrepreneurial customers, will oversee Ryan’s ASB Real Estate Management portfolio, leading the leasing and management teams and directing the overall management of the Capella and AT&T Towers located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Maney was a founder, principal and executive of Colonnade Properties, a privately held commercial real estate owner-operator focused on office and mixed use, turnaround and value-added properties located in and around major Central Business Districts throughout the United States.
Prior to joining Colonnade Properties, Maney was an executive vice president of Northco Corporation and Chief Executive Officer of Northco Management Services. He was also a Director of Northco and was responsible for acquisitions and finance, development, and asset and property management.
Maney is a licensed real estate broker in the states of Minnesota (active) and Georgia (inactive) and holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. He has been an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the National Association of Office and Industrial Office Parks (NAIOP). Maney is a past member of the board of directors of the Minnesota NAIOP and is a current member of the board of directors of Youth Frontiers. Maney holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame
Campbell hired as senior property manager
Ted Campbell was recently hired as senior property manager at Capella Tower, a position similar to the one he most recently held for the same property while employed with the Hines Company. During his time as property manager at this property, Campbell has overseen more than 200,000 square feet of tenant improvements along with capital improvements that include a new building conference center, spec suites, bicycle storage, and shower facilities for bicycle commuters. Under Campbell’s management, occupancy at Capella Tower has increased to 82 percent.

In addition to his management experience at Capella Tower, Campbell was also instrumental in a four-year repositioning program at Fifth Street Towers, a joint effort involving Carter Real Estate and CB Richard Ellis for the 1.1-million-square-foot tower in downtown Minneapolis. Campbell has also previously worked with Jones Lang Lasalle in Denver and the Stahl Companies in Minneapolis.
Molitor promoted to assistant general manager
Beth Molitor has been promoted to assistant general manager at the AT&T Tower. With a strong background in office properties, Molitor greets each new property management opportunity with an enthusiasm for building and maintaining a solid rapport with both tenants and owners. Her duties range from budget preparation, owner/tenant relations, lease administration, contract negotiation and vendor management. Enjoying the fast pace and challenges of property management, Molitor approaches her duties with the flexibility and common sense necessary to protect her tenants’ and customers’ interests and business goals. Her open communications style and dedication to providing the best in professional service make her an asset to her customers and the Ryan team.
Molitor is actively involved with BOMA and MNCREW, where she serves in a
leadership role.
Borst promoted to senior property manager
Jeff Borst has been promoted to senior property manager at the TCF Tower. Borst uses his knowledge of office and real estate management to lead building operations, financial reporting and performance, tenant improvements, lease activity, tenant and owner relations, staff performance and growth. Along with mentoring an office and engineering staff, Borst embraces his position with a team-oriented approach with communication skills necessary to enhance both his internal and external customers’ interests and goals.
Borst is active member of the local NAIOP Minnesota Chapter, and currently is serving as the Minnesota chapter IREM President.
