Chris Hardinger joins Ryan Companies as Vice President, Mission Critical

Chris Hardinger has joined Ryan Companies as vice president of its mission critical division. Hardinger will lead the Ryan team responsible for building and developing data centers and other mission-critical projects, and will oversee business development, client relationships, executive level communications and overall marketing strategies for the division.

“Mission-critical facilities pose special demands because they support vital operations and equipment and are required to be available around the clock,” explained Jeff Smith, executive vice president of Ryan. “Chris brings 16 years of mission-critical experience to Ryan, so he understands the highly sophisticated aspects of these projects. He’ll be able to turbocharge our already successful mission-critical team.”

Prior to joining Ryan, Hardinger served as regional manager of Schneider Electric’s Data Center Solutions group, where he oversaw business development. His mission-critical experience also includes managing a professional services organization and serving as an engineering manager and senior staff engineer. In addition to research and development, Hardinger has experience designing, constructing and commissioning data centers. Hardinger is heavily involved in the industry and has been an active participant in mission-critical events and forums. He has lectured for the Illinois and Indiana Society of Professional Engineers as part of their continuing education (CEU) program. He is also a member of the 7x24 Exchange Great Lakes Chapter.
