MINNEAPOLIS (July 21, 2010) – Ryan Companies US, Inc. recently completed back-to-back remodeling projects for Park Nicollet Health Services at their Maple Grove, Minn., clinic. The first project was a 3,900-square-foot pediatrics remodel which was completed in two phases to allow clinic staff to flow patients to areas of the building not affected by construction. The second phase, completed in June, was a 900-square-foot radiology remodel. This is the sixth project Ryan has completed for Park Nicollet at its Maple Grove clinic. Ryan also recently relocated Park Nicollet’s physical therapy group to a 7,600-square-foot space in The Grove Village Center.
“Our primary goal in any remodel is to provide continuity of care with minimal patient disruption and a clean and contained construction area,” said Mike Stay and Harlan Nelson, senior facilities project managers for Park Nicollet. “The entire Ryan team worked very hard to meet this goal. We are very happy with the way the spaces turned out and with the attention to detail that Ryan provided during the planning and construction process.”
While Ryan provided project delivery services, development and construction, the company partnered with BWBR Architects for design services.
Through careful project coordination, clinic staff and patients were not affected by construction. Ryan also practiced strict site management to keep construction dust, debris and noise contained. By working as a team, Ryan and the Park Nicollet staff were able to complete construction on budget and ahead of schedule without sacrificing patient care or continuity and quality of service.
As part of its integrated project delivery, Ryan coordinated all of the contractors to ensure the right people were involved in the planning process. Ryan also met regularly with Park Nicollet staff to keep them informed about daily project activities and ongoing progress to keep the projects on track.
