Tampa, FL (April 24, 2009) – Ryan Companies US, Inc. (Ryan Cos.) recently completed extensive interior renovations of Nationwide’s local Gainesville service center located at the intersection of Williston Rd & SW 34th Street.  All areas of the 205,650 SF facility were remodeled and Ryan Cos. incorporated many sustainable design practices that resulted in a healthier, safer, work environment.

The year-long interior construction project included: painting, carpet replacement, new ceilings, new (DIRT Wall) offices, new interior offices,new wall graphics, renovation of the lobby entrance, replacement of the security system and an HVAC system overhaul. All of the carpet removed was recycled and replaced with carpeting made of recycled materials, T8 light fixtures were added as needed, and low VOC paints and adhesives were used throughout and ensuring healthier air quality.

“This was a complicated undertaking due in part to the nature of the project,” said Ryan Cos. Division Manager Jorge Capote. “There were challenges we had to manage to ensure our customer, Nationwide, could continue smooth operations within the space throughout the construction. Ultimately we delivered a quality project that will improve the work environment for Nationwide’s employees.”
