Tampa, FL (October 6, 2010) –Ryan Companies US, Inc. recently started construction on a  25,609 square foot  building for Rasmussen College’s East Pasco Campus slated for completion on March 2, 2011. The new building is located on 4.824 acres on the northwest corner of State Road 54 and Sunlake Boulevard and will house classrooms as well as regional offices for the growing private educator. It features concrete tilt-up exterior walls with clay tile accents on the roof.

The state-of-the-art college campus will have the latest technology in a student-centric environment. “We have been providing premier educational options to Pasco County for many years, and we are excited to be able to expand our contribution to the community.” Campus President Claire Walker said.

This new facility will provide educational opportunities and alternatives to the residents of Pasco County, making career-focused Bachelor’s and Associate’s degrees accessible to more people in the north Tampa Bay area, while also adding new jobs. “We are excited to break ground on a project in Pasco County. Ryan Cos. will serve as the Owner, Landlord, Developer and General Contractor. Rasmussen College provided the design services in addition to the furniture and fixtures for the new campus. Ryan Cos. has completed prior projects for Rasmussen in Minnesota and Illinois, so this new facility is a natural extension of a lasting relationship.
