Will Jensen, Vice President of Architecture and Engineering at Ryan Companies US, Inc. has been awarded the Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD Award) from University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. The GOLD Award is presented to graduates who have achieved a measure of success in their field, and bring recognition to themselves and to the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.  Will was honored for these achievements at UWMAA Awards event held in May where the university noted William as a “prolific and award-winning Architect.”  Will has also received multiple architectural awards prior to his current position at Ryan Companies, most notably the following:  

1. Epic Systems Corporate Campus, Verona Wisconsin;
2. Davenport Courthouse, Davenport, IA;
3. TianXing Roosevelt Centre, Dalian, China;
4. Urban Outfitters Corporate Campus, Philadelphia, PA.

His design efforts for Urban Outfitters Corporate Campus while at Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle, Ltd. won them seven national awards from organizations including the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

In addition to these distinctions, Will was recognized for his leadership achievements as a mentor and as a professional.  His guidance has provided support for fellow UW-M architecture alumni in their efforts to build their careers within the profession throughout the Midwest.  Further recognition included his role as Vice President of Architecture and Engineering at Ryan Companies US, Inc. Since joining Ryan in 2006, Will has reshaped Ryan Companies’ A&E business operations into a national design practice providing leading edge solutions within Ryan’s integrated delivery platform.  Will’s ability to develop a high performance team of professionals has provided Ryan with consistent award winning projects and industry leading customer satisfaction results.  This group of recent award winning projects includes:

   NAIOP – Best Overall New Development, Green Project of the Year and Best Suburban Office Development
