Located in the heart of Phoenix’s affluent Biltmore area, Clarendale Arcadia provides a luxurious example of modern-day senior living. Ryan partnered with LCS, our long-standing operating partner on Clarendale Arcadia, a community that is part of Clarendale's metro brand. Nestled amidst more than five acres of pristine landscape located near a plethora of restaurants, shopping and entertainment, the community’s mid-rise construction seamlessly blends into the urban blueprint, providing 248 various Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care units.
Our project team received zoning approvals at the forefront of the COVID-19 global pandemic which provided a whole new set of challenges for the team. Delivering a project of this caliber while also meeting regulations, navigating necessary social distancing and virtual meetings added a new layer of complexity, but our team adapted to this new “normal” with flexibility. To maintain our high standards amidst unique pandemic hurdles, the project team hired additional field supervisors to offer guidance and schedule rigorous checks. The site was also located on a small land acreage amongst an urban environment, which required coordination with the surrounding retail businesses for utility upgrades, as well as agreement on access and maintenance.
Clarendale Arcadia features high-end interior finishes, spacious units with stunning views and an extensive list of amenities including second-floor amenity deck with a pool, spa, dog park, bocce ball lawn and indoor/outdoor lounge. But this project wasn’t just about building a physical structure—it was about fostering a sense of community. Throughout construction, the team took the time to chat with residents, learning their names and establishing a sense of belonging and trust. With its commitment to luxury, stunning mountain views and a full continuum of care, Clarendale Arcadia redefines senior living.
