The Towers at Bressi Ranch was the first major development for Ryan’s San Diego office, and Ryan’s first LEED-certified development project. The Towers sits on 20 acres within Bressi Ranch Corporate Center, a 132-acre, campus-style mixed-use business park in Carlsbad, California. Conveniently situated at the main entrance of Bressi Ranch on Innovation Way and Palomar Airport Road, the Towers’ office condos cater to small entrepreneurial businesses and large corporations with satellite offices looking for owner/user opportunities.
Initially, Ryan planned to design and construct the building in accordance with LEED standards because the U.S. Green Building Council did not have a category for shell-only construction. When the specifications for a LEED-CS, core and shell, certification were approved by the USGBC membership, no alteration to the design was required because Ryan and partner architect Smith Consulting Architects had already set a sustainable, “green” course. The Towers is officially LEED Certified.
