Bacariza Named New Vice President, Market Leader, In Ryan Companies’ Tampa Office
Ryan Companies has announced the promotion of Jon Paul (JP) Bacariza as the new Vice President, Market Leader, to cover the Tampa Bay Region. Bacariza joined the company in 2019 as Director of Architecture for the Southeast region and will transition into his new role over the next couple months.
As Director of Architecture, Bacariza led a growing team of architects and designers in Ryan’s Tampa office. He will now serve in a regional leadership position in partnership with Doug Dieck, Regional President for the Southeast. In addition to leading architecture efforts, Bacariza will expand his lead to cover all Ryan sectors, including architecture and engineering (A+E), construction, capital markets, development and real estate management.
“Building upon his 20 years of experience creating great spaces, JP is the right person to partner with me to move the office forward,” stated Dieck, “He is well-respected in the market, and I look forward to his continued growth as he steps into the role of Market Leader for the Tampa Bay area.”
During his time at Ryan thus far, Bacariza has been involved in several noteworthy projects, including the Jacksonville Electric Association (JEA) corporate headquarters in Jacksonville. Before joining Ryan in 2019, Bacariza served as an Office Director of HKS Architects’ Tampa office. He currently serves on the Board of Regents for the American College of Healthcare Architects, is a founding board member of the South Florida chapter of the USGBC and is on the Advisory Committee for the Institute for Patient Centered Design. Bacariza has his bachelor’s degree in architecture from Cornell University.
