Chris Brink Named as a “40 Under 40” Honoree
The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal has released their second round of this year’s 40 Under 40 honorees, and we’re proud to announce that our very own, Chris Brink, has made the list.
This award recognizes 40 business leaders under the age of 40 for their professional accomplishments and involvement in their communities.
In Chris’ 17 years with Ryan Companies US Inc., he has become an established leader whose impact has been felt across the entire organization. As director of construction, Chris leads a team of 30 project managers and coordinators, while also overseeing key projects that total over 250 million dollars in revenue.
Currently, Chris is leading his team in the execution of 11 blocks of projects at Highland Bridge, a 122-acre mixed-use development in St. Paul, which is Ryan’s largest development project to date.
“Whether it’s with our key long-term clients like Target, Amazon, Toro or Polaris, the numerous team members that Chris has mentored, or the many non-profits [he’s involved with], Chris has left a positive impact on everything he touches,” says Tony Barranco, president of the North region, Ryan Companies.
When he’s not mentoring his team or managing an important project, you can find Chris actively engaged with Ryan’s newest employee resource group, Support Without Stigma, or serving as a member of the advisory council for ConstructReach, an organization that works to diversify the construction industry.
Chris is committed to bettering his community by supporting multiple non-profit organizations, one of which is Twin Cities Young Life, a Christian ministry that fosters authentic relationships with youth. Since 2009, Chris and his family have mentored many teens, while welcoming them into their home and lives.
Other organizations Chris is involved with include: Habitat for Humanity, People Serving People, Guild, People Incorporated, Special Olympics, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, as well as the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Congratulations to Chris on being recognized as an influential leader in the workplace and in the community! We’re honored to have you as part of the Ryan team.
