Google Exec Monique Picou Added to Ryan Companies Board of Directors

We’re excited to announce the appointment of Monique Picou to our Board of Directors!

Our tremendous growth in 2021, which included growing our team by 20% across the country, expanding into Denver, Colo. and delivering 28 million square feet of new construction, along with our plans for continued expansion, made it essential to bring on a new board member.

 “Monique’s extensive background in supply chain at Fortune 500 companies will be instrumental in growing Ryan strategically,” said Pat Ryan, board chairman, Ryan Companies. “Her role in helping companies win before and during Covid will undoubtedly provide an important perspective as we continue our geographic expansion.”

Picou is currently the vice president of product, technology, strategy and global server operations at Google. In her role, Picou is leading the global expansion of server operations, as well as strategies for technology and data center planning. Prior to Google, Picou was the chief strategy and supply chain officer for Sam’s Club where she achieved profitable growth for the enterprise.

Picou is currently the marketing subcommittee chair for the Florida Tech College of Business advisory board and a member of the Southern University Business and Industry Cluster Executive Committee. She’s also been featured in DiversityInc, Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Next Gen Summit and Savoy Network. She holds a BS in electrical engineering from Southern University, Baton Rouge, La. and completed her MBA at Florida Tech.
