Laura Graf Named as a “Women in Business” Honoree
The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal has released their fourth round of 2022 Women in Business honorees, and we’re thrilled to announce that Laura Graf, chief legal officer, has made the list!
This award is given to female business and community leaders across the Twin Cities for their professional achievements, leadership qualities and contributions to the community.
As our chief legal officer, Laura oversees the legal affairs of the company including real estate development and construction law, environmental functions as well as insurance and risk management and dispute resolution.
Currently, she leads a team of 18 that have closed over one billion dollars of real estate sale transactions in just 2021 and has supported construction operation activity totaling over three billion. Her leadership, real estate expertise and overall knowledge of Ryan’s business has shown to be instrumental in our organization’s success over the last two years.
In addition, Laura serves on our executive leadership team to help guide Ryan’s strategic vision. She’s an executive sponsor to our Support Without Stigma employee resource group – a group dedicated to creating a safe space for Ryan team members to talk about mental health.
Outside of Ryan, Laura is passionate about education and bridging the gap between the trades and young people. She’s a member of Dunwoody College’s Board of Trustees, where she helps educate students on the latest technology in the commercial real estate industry.
Laura has been recognized over the years with several awards including “America’s Leading Business Lawyers” by Chambers USA (Real Estate), 2017-2019, Best Lawyers in America©, 2018-2020, Super Lawyer by Minnesota Super Lawyers, 2016-2019, and IFLR1000 Highly Regarded – State, 2019.
