Luxury Senior Living Community Opens in St. Louis area

After breaking ground summer of 2019, Ryan’s largest senior living project to date is now complete. Clarendale Clayton recently started welcoming residents to its new luxury senior living community, which is managed by Life Care Services, an LCS company.

At 13 stories high, Clarendale Clayton is St. Louis’ first-ever high-rise senior living option. The community is located at the corner of Clayton and Hanley Roads, which was formerly a Schnucks grocery store for more than half a century. There are 281 luxury senior residences including 195 independent living apartments with one, two and three-bedrooms, 66 assisted living and 20 memory care apartments. Residents will experience a five-star atmosphere complete with a doorman and concierge services, complimentary transportation within a 10-mile radius, three dining options, a full-service salon and spa, and an unwavering commitment to engaging mind, body and spirit.

This project was also Ryan’s tallest project built using cold-formed metal framing to date. The framing is an alternative to structural steel framing and is an efficient option in the construction process.

Clarendale Clayton is the second Clarendale senior living community in the St. Louis market. Together, Ryan and LCS have partnered to develop 10 communities in various locations across the country.
