People on the Move: Mike Ryan, Julie Ferguson and Tony Barranco Step Into New Leadership Roles

As we move forward in 2025, we are excited to announce the promotions of Mike Ryan to National President, Tony Barranco to Northern Division President and Julie Ferguson to Southern Division President. These appointments reflect their exceptional leadership and commitment to driving innovation, growth, and community impact. 

In his new role as National President, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in commercial real estate, along with a strong dedication to the company's core values. With an extensive background in project execution and leadership, Mike is well-equipped to drive our overall strategy and growth initiatives. His unique blend of practical experience—from pouring concrete and carpentry to a career spanning more than a decade in architecture—supports his comprehensive understanding of the industry. Mike's leadership is centered on client relationships and fostering collaboration across all levels of the organization. 

As Southern Division President, Julie brings her extensive expertise in commercial real estate and operational efficiency to oversee strategic initiatives across our South Central and Southeast regions. Julie’s proven track record includes leading Ryan’s Senior Living sector, where she managed a $2 billion portfolio and achieved a 97% increase in senior living units. Dedicated to fostering collaboration and sustainable growth, Julie will focus on enhancing customer value and building strong partnerships across our diverse markets. She also will continue overseeing our senior living sector.   

Tony, our newly appointed Northern Division President, has more than 25 years of experience in urban redevelopment and strategic leadership. He will oversee operations across our North, Midwest and Great Lakes regions. Tony’s notable projects include Downtown East in Minneapolis and Highland Bridge in Saint Paul, valued at more than $2.5 billion. Known for his people-first approach, Tony excels at aligning client goals with community development, leaving a lasting positive impact.
