People on the Move: Ryan Promotes Six Team Members to VP and One to SVP

We’re excited to officially share that six of our team members have been promoted to vice president, with one being promoted to senior vice president. Spanning multiple sectors and services, Mark Ivancic, Brett Bunke, Lisa Adair, Josh Ekstrand, Ryan Grove, Chris Teigen and Beau Brush have all assumed new titles and responsibilities. Mark Ivancic, Senior Vice President of Asset Management, Multifamily & Senior Living

Mark has been promoted to senior vice president of asset management for senior living and multifamily. In his role, Mark oversees asset management for both the multifamily and senior living sectors, which are on track to deliver 3,266 units throughout the country by the end of 2024. He has been at Ryan for close to five years and works with internal and external partners to develop, construct and operate buildings throughout the country. Mark is also an Executive Board Member of the American Senior Housing Association.

Lisa Adair, Vice President of Management and Building Services

Lisa has been promoted to vice president of management and building services. Lisa is instrumental in the continued growth and evolution of our real estate management group. She’s responsible for strategic and operational leadership on the national level, focusing on best practices, talent development, financial management and resource allocation. Lisa has been with Ryan for more than 35 years and is an active member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).

Brett Bunke, Vice President of Architecture, Ryan A+E, Inc.

Brett has been promoted to vice president of architecture and will lead our Architecture + Engineering team across the Chicago and Great Lakes markets. In addition to seeking opportunities for marketplace growth, he is responsible for developing sustainable strategies and designing with a future-focused mindset to create a positive impact and ensure profitability.

Josh Ekstrand, Vice President of Design, Ryan A+E, Inc.

Josh has been promoted to vice president of design. In his new role, he will lead our design teams on key projects across the country. He will oversee the overall design approach, process and quality across all sectors, managing design culture and leading design teams on key projects nationally. Some of Josh’s notable projects include 10 West End, Eleven, Fourth & Park and Highland Bridge. He’s been with Ryan for 11 years and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Ryan Grove, Vice President, Real Estate Development

Ryan has been promoted to vice president of real estate development. He’s been with Ryan for seven years and is focused on industrial and office development projects. In his new role, he will oversee every step of the development process, including site selection, land acquisition, constraint analysis, due diligence, financial feasibility, municipal approvals, design and construction coordination and lease/sale negotiations. Ryan has been involved in the development of over 1.1 million-SF of Class A industrial space in California. He’s actively involved in NAIOP and has served as a mentor in NAIOP’s Developing Leaders program since 2016.

Chris Teigen, Vice President of Architecture, Senior Living, Ryan A+E, Inc.

Chris has been promoted to vice president of architecture, senior living, where he will lead the  national senior living Architecture + Engineering team. He is instrumental in establishing the team’s strategic direction, goals and objectives while collaborating with key stakeholders to drive plans forward. Chris has been with Ryan for eight years and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Beau Brush, Vice President of Construction Operations

Beau has been promoted to vice president of construction, where he will oversee $350 million worth of construction projects in our Southwest region. Beau will be responsible for growing and developing the region’s project management and field workforce, ensuring high customer service standards and promoting best practices for Ryan’s integrated project delivery platform. Beau has been with Ryan for 9 years and is a LEED-accredited professional.
