We're thrilled to share that we've entered into a purchase and sale agreement with Thomson Reuters for 179 acres of its 263-acre campus located in Eagan, Minn. The site includes a 1,100,000-square-foot office building, three data centers totaling 333,912 square feet and 90 acres of undeveloped land.

Located off Dodd Road, just south of the Interstate 494 and Interstate 35E interchange, the site features tremendous accessibility and proximity to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport as well as downtown Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Ryan will work collaboratively with the City of Eagan, Thomson Reuters and other area stakeholders to explore potential options for the site.

North Region President Tony Barranco stated, “Having access to nearly 180 acres within a major metropolitan area is rare and we believe there is tremendous potential in redeveloping this site to bring new jobs and opportunities to the City of Eagan.”

Thomson Reuters announced that its Minneapolis-St. Paul-based office location will remain in Eagan but will relocate to its new site, The Landing, near the TCO Performance Center at Viking Lakes in the coming months. The Thomson Reuters print manufacturing facility, purpose-built and a key component to the business, was not for sale and will continue operating at its current location.

This is our third major development in the Twin Cities metro in the past year. In May 2023, we partnered with C. S. McCrossan, Inc. as land partners and co-developers on the 100-acre Minnesota Science and Technology Center in Maple Grove. On Jan. 16, 2024, the Ramsey County Board approved the purchase and sale agreement with Ryan for a 40-acre parcel in Arden Hills.
