Ryan Celebrates Grand Opening of Cogir of South Bay

We are excited to share that Cogir of South Bay, a resort-style senior living community, is now open and available for leasing. Located two miles from the ocean in Torrance, CA, near the Del Amo Fashion Center, this community is comprised of 158 well-appointed independent and assisted living residences. The opening of this community comes at a critical time, as projections indicate there will be more than 6,600 income-qualified households aged 75 and older in the South Bay area by 2026.

The four-story, state-of-the-art senior living community boasts several amenities including: multiple dining venues, bistro, fitness center, theater, salon, art room and an outdoor amenity deck with a pool. The conveniently located, walkable Del Amo Fashion Center features more than 250 retailers and several full-service restaurants that residents can also enjoy.

Serving as the builder of Cogir of South Bay, we have also constructed more than 60 senior living communities nationwide and developed 35 communities within that portfolio. Cogir of South Bay is our second senior living project in California; we previously built Silvergate Rancho Bernardo in San Diego.
