Ryan Companies US, Inc. and the Village of Woodridge announced today the groundbreaking of Edward-Elmhurst Health Center, located at the southeast corner of Route 53 and 75th Street in Woodridge. The clinic will provide multi-specialty medical care for Woodridge and the surrounding area.

The Village of Woodridge approved the incoming two-story, 36,100-square-foot health center this summer, and Ryan aims for completion in Fall 2021. The clinic will offer high-quality, convenient and highly accessible medical care. There will also be physician services that include primary and specialty care, behavioral health services, laboratory services, physical therapy, diagnostic imaging (x-ray, ultrasound and MRIs,) and other specialties.

“This project represents a larger trend of bringing health care closer to the community, homes and workplaces,” said Curt Pascoe, director of development at Ryan. “As developer, builder, property manager, and owner of this new clinic, we’re proud to be a trusted partner for EEH.”

Because of its location, the Woodridge Center will allow Edward-Elmhurst Health to provide services and care for patients who use the system’s two hospitals – Edward Hospital in Naperville and Elmhurst Hospital. The full array of outpatient services offered at the Center means safe, seamless and personal healthcare is conveniently located and readily accessible for nearby residents.

The development was designed and entitled while responding to the impacts of COVID. “The project team maintained focus on our collective goal. A special thank you to the Village of Woodridge, which was instrumental in achieving this groundbreaking on schedule,” said Pascoe.

The Edward-Elmhurst Health Center - Woodridge marks the second clinic built in partnership between Edward-Elmhurst Health and Ryan; Edward-Elmhurst Health Center – Schiller Street opened September 2018 in Elmhurst.
