Ryan Companies, US Inc., announced today it will build a new 29,000 square foot professional building and clinic for Edward-Elmhurst Health in Elmhurst, Illinois. The two-story Class A clinic will be constructed downtown, adjacent to the existing Elmhurst Clinic, and will modernize healthcare delivery for patients in Elmhurst and the surrounding area.

“We’re excited to partner with Edward-Elmhurst Health to create a new home for the next generation of patients and providers in downtown Elmhurst,” said Curt Pascoe, Director of Real Estate Development, Ryan Companies. “The new building will include prairie style architecture, more windows, enhanced lobbies with natural light, and modernized systems - all leading to a better patient experience.”

The new professional building and clinic will be built in the existing parking lot, allowing Elmhurst Clinic to continue operations during construction. Valet parking will be available for patients.

“This will be home to Elmhurst Clinic, Elmhurst Medical Associates and Linden Oaks Behavioral Health,” said Mary Lou Mastro, Edward-Elmhurst System CEO. “The new building reinforces our commitment to provide the best and most convenient care for our patients.”

Construction will begin in March and is expected to be completed by the end of the year. “Our integrated delivery model of development, construction, and capital allows us to deliver this building within one calendar year with limited patient inconvenience, all while bringing a new Class A medical clinic to downtown Elmhurst,” said Pascoe.

Edward-Elmhurst Health, a system with annual revenues of more than $1.3 billion, includes Edward and Elmhurst Hospitals, and Linden Oaks Behavioral Health, in addition to more than 60 outpatient locations across a service area of 1.7 million residents in the west and southwest suburbs of Chicago. The system has 2,000 physicians on staff, nearly 8,500 employees, including 1,900 nurses, plus 1,300 volunteers. For more information, visit www.EEHealth.org.
