Ryan Companies Expands Architecture and Engineering Presence in Northwest
Ryan Companies US, Inc. has extended its national architecture and engineering capabilities to the Washington State region by relocating architect Chase Prepula to its Northwest Region. Prepula, a Washington State native earned his Bachelors of Science degree in architectural studies from Washington State University and his Masters of Architecture from Iowa State University.
Prepula joins the Seattle based Ryan team after spending five years with Ryan A+E in their North Region located in Minneapolis, MN. Prepula has been involved in a number of high-profile projects during his tenure including; EDITION Residences a luxury apartment project located in Ryan’s eight block development located in the Minneapolis CBD, the 174,000 square foot Millwright building, which in part, is home to Ryan’s corporate headquarters, Aurélien, a 453,000 square foot multifamily luxury apartment project in downtown Chicago and currently Sons of Norway a 321,000 square foot multifamily project in Minneapolis.
“We design approximately one third of our projects in-house and partner with external design firms for the other two thirds,” said Bret Jordan, President of Ryan’s Northwest Region. “It is great to have Chase’s skill sets on our team to offer valuable design solutions to our customers in Washington State and the surrounding region.”
Prepula will continue to work on existing projects in the Midwest while working to add architecture clients to Ryan’s growing Northwest Region. Ryan’s Northwest Region offices are currently located in Kirkland, WA.
