Ryan Expands into Colorado and Names New Regional President
Ryan has officially expanded into Colorado by naming a new regional president. Kirk Monroe is now Ryan’s Rocky Mountain regional president. Having served as one of our partners in Colorado across much of the country for more than 25 years, Kirk is very familiar with the company.
“Colorado is an amazing place where our team members want to live and work - we are privileged to now officially call it home,” said Mike Ryan, Northern Division President, Ryan Companies. “Kirk is fun, kind, smart and generous with a great business sense and a proven leadership track record in this community. We couldn’t be more pleased to have him perpetuating our strong company culture in Colorado.”
Kirk brings 29 years of experience in the banking services industry. He most recently served as executive vice president and director of banking services at Vectra Bank Colorado where he has facilitated billions in real estate financing for projects across the U.S. Kirk is currently an advisory board member of the Urban Land Institute, board member of the Downtown Denver Partnership Investment Committee, board member and member of the EDC Board of Governors for the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation Board and advisory board member for The Other Side Academy.
“It’s been exciting to watch Ryan Companies grow, but now that I get to be part of it, I couldn’t be more thrilled,” said Kirk Monroe, Rocky Mountain regional president, Ryan Companies. “Officially establishing this new region means we can now focus on building the team and making great contributions to the community.”
In addition to naming a new president, a longtime Ryan team member of 17 years was recently promoted. Mark Beal was appointed to the role of vice president of construction operations and will oversee construction planning and logistics for the Rocky Mountain Region. In this role, Beal will maintain best practices and standardize processes as the region continues to grow.
Ryan anticipates executing a billion dollars of commercial real estate services during the first five years in Colorado. To date, we’ve completed more than 20 projects in the Denver area including a remodel program for a retailer and a new headquarters for the interior door industry leader TruStile Doors. Projects currently under construction include a medical technology campus in Lafayette, Acoya Cherry Creek (a luxury senior living community) and Wadsworth Station Apartments in Lakewood.
