Ryan’s Senior Living Team Promotes Daniel Raimer and Steve Strom

According to market research, demand for senior living communities is expected to continue growing now and into the future. Ryan’s senior living team has more than a dozen developments planned for the next couple of years and has already completed more than 50 senior living communities to date. As senior housing becomes more vital for the aging population, it takes a talented team to help us continually create communities where seniors can thrive.

This week we’d like to congratulate Daniel Raimer and Steve Strom for their recent promotions to vice president of real estate development in Ryan’s senior living sector.

Based in Phoenix, Daniel Raimer joined Ryan nearly eight years ago as a project manager and transitioned to development in 2017. He has been instrumental in one multifamily project and five senior living developments, totaling more than 1,000 units. Drawing on his construction management and civil engineering background, Daniel has shown tremendous strength in understanding every stage of senior housing development and identifying new opportunities. He is an active member of industry organizations and an associate board member for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale. Daniel will continue supporting the national growth of Ryan’s senior living portfolio by maintaining and growing relationships with key partners and working hand-in-hand with operators to ensure successful developments for all stakeholders.

Steve Strom is based in Minneapolis and has been with Ryan for two years. In his short time at Ryan, Steve has demonstrated his strengths in assessing potential sites, negotiating, and managing partner relationships. Steve’s 16 years of experience paired with his leadership skills contributed to the success of eight senior living developments throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Florida and Texas. He is also an impactful member of the Twin Cities community, serving on the board of governors for the Bethel University Foundation and the Alzheimer’s Association Board of Directors. Like Daniel, Steve will support the national growth of Ryan’s senior living portfolio by pursuing development opportunities and working closely with operators to ensure successful developments for all stakeholders.
