Amkor Technology, one of the world’s largest providers of semiconductor assembly and test services, needed a new corporate headquarters. As a leading global technology company looking for an upgrade, it was clear Amkor would be a great fit for the prestigious ASU Research Park (ASURP) at the center of Tempe, Arizona’s high technology hub.
Having already completed eight projects at ASURP, Ryan was intimately familiar with the development process. Our ability to bring existing strong relationships and a stellar reputation with the ASURP community was an attractive benefit for Amkor. Additionally, our holistic service approach enabled our team to provide development, financing, construction and real estate management services as well as typical design-build services. Further, our extensive experience working with third-party contractors made Amkor’s transition as seamless as possible.
The new facility features an open-office concept with large conference rooms and gathering areas strategically built to encourage employee collaboration and break-out meetings; a coffee shop-inspired break room; restaurant-quality dining areas; mothers’ rooms and electric car charging stations. Ryan constructed the office space using LEED-inspired practices, including recycling construction materials and using reclaimed water for landscaping needs.
