Ryan Companies Hires Mark Sims as Vice President of Real Estate Development in Southwest Region

Ryan Companies US, Inc., a national developer, designer, builder and property manager offering full-service commercial real estate solutions, announced the hiring of Mark Sims as vice president of real estate development. Sims started his role in early April and will focus on industrial and office build-to-suit development projects.

With 30 years of industry experience, Sims joins Ryan to expand the company’s Phoenix footprint and work closely with build-to-suit teams on development opportunities in the Western U.S. Throughout his career, Sims has completed millions of square feet in industrial projects and has helped develop thousands of acres of industrial land on behalf of developers and occupiers across the country.

Sims previously served as executive managing director at Cushman & Wakefield in Minnesota. He is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, Minn., and is a member of NAIOP and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).
