Ryan recently completed a Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) and Medical Office that is transforming the traditional model of healthcare by combining a healthcare prototype with a traditional site of care: a small, stand-alone, freestanding emergency department with physician’s medical offices. Located on the west side of Saint Petersburg, FL, the project makes a positive impact by expanding medical care access in a growing community and alleviating pressure on local hospitals and reducing patient wait times.
Initially engaging with our architecture team for design, the confidential client and its parent company were impressed with our team’s values-driven approach and efficient communication. They trusted in our Collective Insight and, knowing we would exemplify the same seamless communication style and positive work experience across all our services, they quickly partnered with our construction team to complete the build.
Our architecture and construction teams kept client priorities at the forefront of every decision, including the implementation of a concrete tilt structure to save time and money, as well as greater energy-efficiency and fewer required building systems. At no additional cost to the client, our real estate management/Ryan building services team provided building use and maintenance recommendations to improve the client’s build process, reflecting Ryan’s commitment to the client beyond project completion.
